If you are opening walls or adding onto a structure, now is the perfect time to have your pest control company apply Bora-Care or Bora-Care with Mold-Care to the wood. Once it is applied, termites cannot consume Bora-Care treated wood or build tubes over treated wood or concrete. And, since Bora-Care’s active ingredient is a borate mineral salt, it will not break down over time. Bora-Care remains in the wood as long as the wood is in service, providing years of residual protection. The use of Mold-Care in conjunction with Bora-Care will kill any existing mold and prevent it from growing in the future.
